Center for Professional Journalism Studies (CPJS), established in 2003, is a non-governmental, non-profit media organization dedicated to create an active national network of professional Journalists across the nation. It is an outfit of socially conscious and morally responsible journalists of Nepal enthusiastically involved in excelling Professional Journalism. Registered at the District Administration Office (DAO) in Kathmandu and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council (SWC), CPJS has the central office in Kathmandu with branches set up in all five development regions. It has working arrangements with local branches of Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) in almost every district. The Center is involved in several media related activities like research and evaluation, workshops and seminars and production of television and radio programs.
